Help! Strange Luftwaffe Uniform

Hello,
I posted in the past a thread on this same uniform, but I posted a new thread because there are some different strange things about it.

Look at the foto's. The pockets have been made upon the uniform. Originally there where above no pochets, and the down pockets where the invisible type.

The inside of the tunic also looks strange. Who can help me??
It also looks like the cuff of the lower arms has been added. I believe you can still see the normal opening that has been closed.

Is this a replica, or just a by a tailor changed uniform? What has is been?

Here you see just under the flap the original pocket ( that is still open!), and there under you see the attached pocket.

outside of one of the cuffs. The other is made of 1 piece.

Perhaps some possibilities:
- Could the tunic have been re-issued
- Could the inside have been painted?
- Could it be a chanched Bundes Luftwaffe tunic?
-Isn't a marking on a new tailored inside strange?

Hello!

I re- posted this old tread. the seller still doesn't want to take this tunic back. I want to give the tunic back, because I doubt if he's original and because the seller didn't say this tunic was totally tailored.



That's why I need help from other collectors. Is this an original tunic ? What is not original about it? (for example the strange inside)

It originally had only 2 HORIZONTAL pockets below. Is this possible?

Hi Frank -


The only help I can offer is that the interior does not mesh with any wartime tunic that I have ever seen. There are enough red flags on this tunic to safely say that it has little collectible value, IMHO.
