A customer brought this into the shop for us to take a look at, it was brought with a bunch of other original German & British militaria from a house clearance. That's the back story but of course that's just that. Having never seen a bullion example like this I wanted to post it up for review.

In hand it appears to be made from tunic material as its not floppy as a usual title is, it does not appear to have been sewn to a tunic either. The centre section is backed with a black material and either edge white tape, it is well made, but having not seen one like this It's hard to give an opinion.

I am in the camp that an officer or general might have wanted one of these made, regardless of what has survived and what we’ve seen. That said, this looks post-war done to me.

Looks like Pakistan done to me. Not a trace of ageing at all, slightly of centre and all threads in one direction.
We get calls and emails from Pakistan makers all the time offering fake cloth for sale.
