Panzer School Shoulder Board Opinion Needed

Hey guys...

I have had this for years...and everyone who has seen it said it was original...

However...

I had someone look at these recently, and they have concluded that the "L" is actually fake...due to a mold line.

Can I can some clarification?

Lehr cypher

The cypher should be a stamped piece and not cast. If you can remove it and look at the back that would help.

Actually, Lehr units are training and demonstration units and not schools. Schools would use an "S" cypher for "Schule".

Agree cyphers should be stamped not cast, which this one appears to be...
