Green material help

I got this material recently with some german stuff. It reminds me either the early 1st pattern FJ jumpsuit material (never had one in my collection so I am just judging based on the colour, might be totally wrong), or the police summer tunic. What is your opinion about it?

This was produced and used post war also but I do not know the differences between wartime and post war fabrics. I would ask in the police area of the forum.
