These have been around since at least June of 2003. That's when I purchased mine. I did not purchase them from a veteran, and I do not have a train of owners leading back to a veteran. I guess I might as well fess up. I bought them on eBay when there was some great stuff there.

I see no indication of the straps being disassembled to add embroidery post war. Therefore, they are either made before the end of the war, or high quality reproductions, not original straps that have been played with.

The cyphers are not as thickly embroidered as pre-war and early war cyphers.

This is the only Green version of the strap GD variation that I know of. I used to own this strap and sold it to Scott Pr.
