The piping has a pink hue to it in sunlight but in artificial light it looks orange/red.

Nice straps. Could be both really but I would say most likely Heer.

I agree with galizien41. They could be either, but probably they are Heer. Early SS had the same tongues as army, but early on, the army had many more men authorized to wear the black wrapper. Also one of them looks to be tailor made and tailor made SS straps are very uncommon.

This is a common misconception.
I once had a black EM slip on strap piped in MEDICAL BLUE. The underside was also BLACK. If the supposition was true, it would be Heer Panzer Medical!!
I agree with the other posts. Could be either Heer or SS, with an edge going to Heer.

Yes, it is. Here for an example two shoulder straps waffen-ss and with a substrate of black cloth and cloth of color to a feldgrau.
