    HBT printed eagle

    Hello,
I have posted the eagle in a printed eagle thread, but do not think I have posted the entire jacket.
The are no buttons or bridles for shoulder straps and do not appear to have ever been any. The overall look of the jacket is somewhat, but not excessively, worn. The stitching on the breast eagle is a bit poor, but there is no sign of a previous application, the lines visible are from wear on the overlap of the folded badge.
Please let me know your thoughts, the jacket was acquired some years ago,
    Kerry.

        Hello,

The eagle appears to be a nice original late war Heer printed eagle. The collar tabs appear to be reproductions. Better pictures of the tabs are needed.

          Hello Fred,
Sorry, i am having to use a low-res tablet camera. Thank you for your opinion, here are the patches, but not the best photos!
          Hope they help,
          Kerry.

Thank you all. Just for information, what marks the patches down as retro?
                Thanks again,
                Kerry.

I'd check better if the tunic did't manufacture by Caravano & Company ....

Nick nailed it. One of the collar tabs is sewn on the wrong way as well.

                        Hello gents,
Thank you all for the excellent information. Is it best to replace the litzen, or to just remove them?
                        Thanks again,
                        Kerry.
