    explanation of size markings please.

    hey Guys, Glenn here. Ive been getting some great responses lately on the stuff I'm trying to complete for my own personal records/references. heres another one. I used to have these facts but somehow they got lost. these size markings are found on my M43 Heer service tunic. I would like to know which is which as far as chest, inseam, shoulders and the likes. here are the numbers as they appear;

    45 42

    98

    75 67

    any information on this subject would be greatly appreciated. thanks, Glenn

    actually as you can see, the top left size number is very difficult to read. does "45" sound right. I know the second digit is a "5' but Im taking a guess the first one is a "4". or would it probably be a different number. Glenn

        Hi Glenn,

        45= indicates the length of the tunic back
        42= indicates the collar size
        98= chest size
        75=tunics length
        67=tunic sleeve length.

        Hope this helps!

        Glenn

            I'm confused about 2 of the numbers. Where is the tunic back (45) measured in relation to the overall length of the tunic (75)? I would assume these would be much closer in length.

              The 45 mark would be from neck to waist. The 75 the entire length of the tunic.
