Looks good. Made of Italian Olona cloth. These typically had continental insignia; this one has more use than most as they were generally made in 1945.

Appears slightly bleached as well? Quite attractive.
Is it a Sudfront or has the top button been added later? Can't quite tell. The top button hole looks hand finished?

I think it is a standard Sudfront with six buttons and collar with hook and eye. The collar looks like it was made to be worn buttoned up, that is, it doesn't appear to me to be a converted 3rd pattern.

I own its twin but with officers insignia...olona Italian sand color cloth, but completely faded white.
Attractive and suitable for Sudfront.

Awesome character on this tunic!

A couple of questions:

* Does this tunic have scalloped pocket flaps? It looks like it in the pics, but the late war tropical tunics I've seen were based on the pattern of the M-43 tunic.

* Is that a seam connecting a scrap piece of fabric to complete the collar on the wearer's right side. If so, this is the first time I have seen this unsightly feature on a tunic produced during the Third Reich. Under the collar you see this all the time, but right under the collar tab? Yuk!

Still a righteous looking tunic.

Got my new Baby today. After a quick search of the Pockets, i found the Eagle what was original on the Tunic, always check all Pockets when you get a new Tunic, it is worth it. So i put that one back on. Took a few Pictures outside, looks really nice

The placement of the collar tabs is not text book...not parallel with the top of the collar...Other than that anomaly a very attractive tunic!
I have my eyes on this one..A friend currently owns it and yes 1945 dated...unissued and liberated from a depot...

and my used bleached to white Olona tunic badged for a doctor. I can see a doctor wearing a white tunic as a non combatant, wanting to stand out as such...
Same Olona fabric, same dark green liner material!

I don't think in 45 was much Textbook anywhere But to me, the Tabs are original on that Tunic and not added or replaced, and you can see that under them the color is darker, maybe drunk Tailor.... Nice Tunics you have there

I agree fully which is why I am calling it an anomaly and not necessary a red flag !
Nice clock collection btw!!
