2 Polizei Panzer Wraps - how amazing is that?

Two officer ones, no less! What a unique experience....

Turned up months apart from 2 different collections in California. Shocking....

Very thoughtful to have used the exact same stamps.

I love the way both sets of tabs have bird pooh smudged on them.

I don't think we should condemn them just off of these pics

Interesting that they did manage to differ in the lining...

For future reference I should say.

Yes, for future reference. But, I suspect at least one has been presented on WAF before.

Note the different shapes of the collar tabs, and collars as well. Custom fakes made in small numbers.

Peacher specials unfortunately. Not even close to a panzer police original in terms of construction.

Love the added touch of a Czechoslovakian tank badge!

Both officer's were the exact same size, what are the odds.

Anyone knows where Richard P (may he rest in peace) got all his stuff from?

Undoubtedly from the same police officer...

                        Jacques,
For what it worth, maybe Richard had more than a single polizei panzer wrap; maybe he owned one of the wraps subjects of this thread.
He had many in fact and some of them were without doubts fakes.
But the black polizei pz one i'm sure he owned was for a NCO, and even if imo it was too a very questionable wrap, it was very different comparing with those 2 officers' wraps.
I'm not in any way the guardian of his memory, but i think it has to be precised.

                          Richard passed away in 2012.
Items from his collection were ridiculed within weeks of his death.
Any worthwhile reason why they have to be again in 2019?

I doubt these were his. He had a lot of debateable items, but they were at least of high quality. These are half-assed repros at best.

Not sure Don but I do remember him telling me on the phone that he would buy repro wraps and caps so that he could study them in detail, stitch by stitch.

The fact that he did that got forgotten or ignored after his death.
