WH Issue Sweater

Would appreciate some thoughts about this sweater. It does not have the green stripe on the collar. Could this be a WWII issue.

I really hope that somebody has some knowledge they can share on Wehrmacht sweaters. We typically see this type with a single green stripe on each cuff as well as one at the neck. This one does not have the green stripe at the neck? Has anyone seen this variation before?

For starters, not all sweaters had the green stripe at the neck. I'm not an expert on knitwear and these particular stripes at the cuffs are new for me so these could just as well be from 1948.. but I like the looks of it in sense of wool, knitting and size label.
