The Paukner tunic appears to be a Dutch officer’s conversion. Very interesting to see. All of them look very impressive. I have a few named DKG uniforms and few RK named uniforms but none who held both awards, at least that I know of. A couple of my DKG uniforms have no name so very possible they could have also held RK but no way to know.

Thanks. If no name is connected to uniform it is naturaly not always DK that was placed on right side, possible are also foreign awards and naturaly artificialy put on loops after war to make it more interesant. Well also with name, you cant be always 100% but that is collecting.

That is all true. On the pieces that I referred to above I am very confident the loops are period and due to rank and service unlikely Spanish cross although on a LW named flying branch tunic to a senior NCO and named I was able to say for sure that the loops are for Spanish cross. Like you say one must be careful with assumptions. I would love to see more of Paukners tunic including inside,
