Hi,
I have seen the discussion about the battle-dress. This one was found at a rag-and-bone man and cost 50 cents. I had to pay for the weight!!!
The shoulderboards were handstitched to the main jacket (same threath like the button on the picture) but without any buttons.
I have placed buttons on the shoulderboards, the rest is untouched.
So IMO this is a real one.
Kind regards
Ron

Nice when new pictures arrives and discussion will take place again.
I have found it difficult to compare, Bordjacken, with these in photos and
books. Sometimes you find a similair neck but the pockets are not the same.
Sometimes the shoulders looks in one way, on another there is a diffrence.
If you compare old pictures against each other you will find that no one is exactly as another.
But we have to remenber that the production was made under war. Specification, assets of material and production methods were spread around Europe. So we probably have to accept a wide range of variations.
