    High Ranking Naval Uniform ID

Hello All: A friend of mine just took this uniform in trade. Can anyone tell me if this name is ID'able? I think this fellow was rather high ranking, so maybe there is some info on him out there.

    Thanks!

      Ribbons

Any idea on what all of these ribbons mean?

      Thanks for your help!

        Problems.

Name purportedly that of an admiral, "Kor" not an abbreviation for rank ever used, nor would I expect a name to be written on the neck loop where it would rub right off.

Korvettenkapitän boards and dress boards make no sense since the real Bruno Machens was a Kapitän zur See before the war.

Ribbon bar for a WW1 Bavarian veteran with NO career in the post-1918 military also indicates this is an assemblage of unrelated items making a "set."

All the pieces may well be good, but the attribution is extremely dubious. (There were no other Machenses.)
