Would these pair up with this litzen single? (which I also scored)

Yeah I saw that and noticed the asking price....
So I went with these instead! Exactly half the price and for 2!

          Feldpostbote NCO level..

In regards to the tab.... Feldpost was zitronengelb..

Food supply officials......hellgelb....till around 1936 and....

The Hispanian Court Riding Institute and the Remounting Administration wore goldgelb which I don't think is the color of your tab......

          Hope this helps

          Cheers

Interesting Larry...Food supply would be nachschub/transport and the waffen farbe is light blue for war time period...So Weimar golden yellow?

I know Feldpost is usually zitronengelb...lemon yellow (like Heer nachrichten/communications...) and this does look like golden yellow cavalry litzen…
but mounted on Admin/Feldpost lemon yellow backing for some reason...
I think its just an anomaly and the litzen is intended for regular Heeres FP. The yellow backing (sew in part) on the shoulderboard set that I am showing now is also more warm yellow...
so I will display these together!
Ofcourse generic (mouse gray) litzen (as illustrated below) would be easier to match up with FP backing! (credit goes to as tagged!)
Bottom photo is a set that Bob.Hritz is offering on his site...again using generic litzen (in dark green).... Interesting to see all of these variations!

These are shoulder straps not of the officer. This rank is similar to a rank of the feldfebel in Heer.

Thanks. What does a feldpostmeister board look like?

Nice Yury. I plan to frame the rank insignia with this document and award! (Romanian medal for campaign against communism)

The award document is for a Feldpost officer who would be equal in rank to a Lt. or a Oberlt. before they changed the rank tiles in April, 1944. Your board is for a Feldpostbote which is a low ranking NCO equal to an Unteroffizier as indicated above.

Good info Johnny! Hard to find explanations on their ranks and titles! I'll still slap it all in one framed display with this FP theme!
Would be fun to find the officer material as well!
Espenlaub had this set on their site but unfortunately already sold!

                        Ugsb?
                        b = bote

Looks like this insignia came off this (bad) tunic!

The ranks and other info on FP are in Volume 2 of the English Edition of the Angolia Schlicht Heer books. They were restructured about the same time TSD was organized. Your award document is rare and very nice. I have a tunic for a Feldpostmeister. It is an interesting branch.
