I believe the cloth eagles are all good.

All types have been discussed on here before.

The metal eagle I have no comment as I don't collect them.

IMO top eagle is nice summer unform eagle 1st type by JC Maedicke. Not very familiar with cloth eagles but the 3rd one with black embroidery enhancements is the same (without brass wire) as 1 I posted here for discussion and was found to be original

The 2nd from the bottom ( with black enhancements) was mistakenly aligned for a while with the Reddick reproduction. (Known as the "Fat ass").

Attention to some obvious details revealed the truth.(The chest weave is totally different, as other points).

Its a nice private purchase eagle, of which I'm happy to own an example.

                    Hi Henrik,

Has the em luft eagle got two tone reverse thread?
                    I think its ok.

Ref the Heer Panzer breast eagle, can you provide a clearer shot
                    of the rear.
Looks good but some repro bevo pieces are hard to spot

I wont comment on the others, as they fall outside my collecting zone.

Id probaly post the SS eagle in the SS forum.

                      Hello,

I like the 4 eagles that started this thread. Jean -Claude covered the metal eagle, The next 3 cloth eagles are good in my opinion. The first cloth eagle I have seen in only naval a colors, KM/CA, never in Heer colors. The highlighted eagle is a nice variation too. I have a couple of those in Heer colors and should have a naval one waiting for me when I get home. The third cloth eagle has been attributed to being of French manufacture. There are some reproductions that look very close to it.

I would post the Luft and SS eagles in their respective forums though.

I'll pass on the cloth ones but the silver metal eagle you posted (not necessaly Heer by the way as both the Heer & KM wore both types so it can also be KM Beamte) is original: a nice cupal specimen with crimped hardware. Maker is not know as far as I know and one of the most common versions but my favorite summer bird!

Everything you posted are fine original examples. SS sleeve eagle has the typical film on the back to stop the fraying as often seen on Dachau depot insignia. All good!
