I picked up this item as it looked good. It is in the style of the private purchase leather jacket used by luft. Pilots, most famously associated with Hartmann. The buttons have been resewn/replaced. It comes out better on the pics than it actually is, it is a little dry in areas, and it smells! These are heavily reproduced today.See what you think!

Looks good..
These "Hartmann" jackets were all French made IMO.
Fakes I've seen had the checkered lining and a rather square buckle..
