    PRE-WAR nco tunic with STRIPES ????

    hello.
    I think saw it before but long time ago. I can't remeber what they mean ... horizontal stripes sewn on left cuff. the tunic is for unteroffizier. may you help me??

      so, they are equivalent to a second class Schützenschnur lanyard? or, every stripe means more than 1 acorn?.
      well, here a tank shell. as the tunic has pink waffenfarbe ...

        Recently, I was really surprised to find out; that, this carry-over was used on the black-wrapper also.

            These were 8cm long stripes and were authorized on Jan 27th, 1928. The insignia existed in 24 classes. They were carried over into the Third Reich’s Army and worn at least until the introduction of markman’s lanyards on June 29th, 1936 .
