The quality of the tunic is superb. The collar patches and breast eagle are very nice and original. I am just surprised that the shoulder boards are not sewn in type. Could you post close ups of the General picture to compare?. It looks like the ownwer have good provenance as he also have his awards.
It is a very nice tunic with the quality that I will expect for a General. I will feel more confortable to see period pictures of the General with slip on shoulder boards.

I am not a German collector, but a soviet WWII collector ( or former). I got this uniform in a deal with a collector who collected russian, German, british, etc.

I grew up with a father who collected TR uniforms so i grabbed this when I could.

General Schilling has an interesting career that I am still learning about.

Thanks for the comments, if anyone notices anything out of place, let me know. I'll take more shots of the boards. The cross strap is out of place for post 1939, but I'll just keep it there for now.
