Sharp looking tunic! Looks to be signal from the pics, with those really nice Austrian style pointed flaps. Matt

      Hello.

This items of Roembke are in my collection. Bought them from different sources.
Since some time I tried to contact you but your mailbox is/was full. Please send me a PM.
      Regards
      Christian

      Ernst Roembke was born 28-09-1919.

Started his career in the Kavallerie-Schuetzenregiment 4, later SR4 and SR 114 which became Panzergrendier-Regiment 114, attached to the 6th Panzer-Divison.
Roembke fought in the relieve of Stalingrad and got his EBS for bravery during the Battle of Kursk as commandernl 7th compagnie.
He later became commander of a battalion in the Mot. SR 1031 which was renamed Panzer-Gren Rgt. 128

He is listed at KIA as Major on 2nd February 1945, Gyoer, Hungary (near of Budapest).
I do have the war diaries of SR114..sometimes he is mentioned there but nothing very specific.
I am waiting since several month for his files from Wast.
