      Awesome!!

Like everyone else already said - Great Find Bill!!! Congratulations.

Did you get any information from the vet about where, how, when, he got these items? That would be the most interesting thing to me.

Some People Win the Lotto, Some People make Major Vet Scores

        Well Bill,

Some people spend ALL their collecting lives wishing and dreaming for a vet score such as this one. GOOD FOR YOU!!!

Now, you may think you got some REALLY COOL STUFF which you did but it gets better!!!

The black Panzer wrap you now own once belonged to Ritterkreuz and DRK winner Major Werner Frhr. Von Beschwitz who was the Kdr. of schw. Pz. Abt. 505 (Tiger) and is still living today! (See link below). Photos appear of him wearing this wrapper on page 301 of the book TIGER by Egon Kleine & Volkmar Kühn and in UNIFORMS OF THE PANZER TROOPS by Jörg M. Hormann. Now, I have a question for you. I assume your vet is still living?

Does he recall where he found/obtained this wrap??? BTW, Von Beschwitz was also awarded and wore the # 50 PAB.

The Vet. is 90 yrs. old and was a US Army Captian interpeter with the 3rd. Army.. Interviewing German Prisoners. The tunic was taken from a German officer at a Hospital, along with the P-38 which was in a Light Brown Browning High power Holster, a Map Case, with maps, the map case has milar grease pencil sheets which correspond with a General map of the AutoBahns of Germany and marked NSDAP.... He has other stuff that he could not locate to include an additional gas mask can with 'stuff' in it, and maps and books.. BILL

Absolutely Amazing! The Artillery Captain's tunic I have, in which my grandpa's brother sent back in 1944/45, is comperable to the M36 panzer walk-out dress you have there.
Once again, absolutely amazing! I hope I have that kind of luck one day(getting harder and harder as veterans are dying faster and faster).
              Later!
