    marsh 43 tan and water parka

    hi all ,
    with just reading about the rare marsh 43 sniper smock in another topic i just thought i would put pictures of a marsh 43 tan and water reversible to white winter parka

                Can someone give me more info on that hexagonal patch (here in the second picture, just above the waist)? Is it just a variation?

                I've already encountered it on 'reversed'-splittertarn trousers in Werner's book.

                Compare with the 'original' patch (as can be seen on the regular splittertarn):
