Original M36 Uniform ??

Hello to all!

I have some questions sbout this uniform.
Something that we ofcourse notice is the EM 's eagle. He has only officers collar tabs and shoulder boards. Is this possible?

Perhaps the most important question about this uniform is : Does he look original? I'm not very sure about it, so im curious for your opinion!

I hope someone can help me.

Since it appears to be an enlisted M-36 converted for officer use, it is plausible that the tailor who did the conversion simply decided to keep the enlisted eagle rather than replacing it with an officer's flatwire or bullion eagle.

So many of these enlisted to officer conversions stop short of converting the cuff to "french" cuffs...yet it is interesting to note that in this case the tailor did bother to convert the cuffs yet still left the enlisted eagle. Can you show a closeup of the eagle? Is it machine sewn or hand sewn? If machine sewn, does the sewing show through to the lining?

Nothing wrong with that tunic. Upgraded to officer status from a M36 enlisted tunic, a couple of interior pockets added as well.

The breast eagle may be original to the jacket as some were sewn by hand on this model of tunic and the officer chose to keep it.

Whats the purpose of the metal hook at the back of the left pocket?

if there was another eagle you could see a trace ,even very slight so i mean it's better to always watch twice ...
