What do you think of this CAV M36?

I have been looking at this M36 CAV tunic and would like your opinions on this. This tunic is found on the Grenadier website. The tunic looks pretty good has maker markings but there are no depot markings?

    Thank you. Steve

          Hi Ed,

Thanks for the reply. I really like this uniform however it is a bit expensive. The fact that it didn't have any depot marks on it threw me off too.

That tunic recently left my collection to fund other purchases. It is a text book M36 with the insignia being originally applied.

Probably was never size marked at the depot and was issued as such... but the maker stamped it on the bandage pocket apon completion of the tunic.

            No worries with this one.

Sorry but I don't like this tunic.

For me the eagle and the collar tabs are fake, And I have not a good feeling with the tunic.
              Not in my collection.

                Hello

From the pictures the tunic is 100 % pre 1945 period. I had seen officers upgraded tunics in which the officer choose to keep the original enlisted eagle. In the book German Army Uniforms in color by Wade Krawczyk there is an example I think. Steve you have the advantage that Glen had done an on hand inspection and nothing can beat that in my opinion. It is difficult to be 100 % sure just looking for pictures.

                regards
