"Technically", that style would be considered Waffen-SS. You might want to post them in that forum also.

The piping is fake, these are not the wartime rayon version you would expect to see on these boards...makes you begin to question the boards themselves

These are trying to be WSS straps, and at first glance, they look OK. But when you study the details, they are reproductions.

Based on those images alone, it is difficult to say with any certainty if the piping is good or bad ???


What is needed is some comparative images and close ups like these 4 images I am adding to this thread. Plus the piping on the boards that started this thread can now be compared with these examples.

There can be differences from slight to obvious in the piping depending on the thickness of the thread and if the piping is made from a Rayon-blend, Artificial Silk-blend or a Flax/ Hemp-blend,

Now waiting for those who have declared them bad to post some reasons why they have said fake/ reproduction ???

Based on the photos, I too agree that they are original
and in the "classic" Waffen-SS configuration.
