    luftwaffe tunic - question

    Hi,
Can someone tell me if there were luftwaffe tunics (flak) with only two pockets. I saw a photo of a flak gefreiter wearing a tunic with only two pockets. There were no breast pockets. It looked like a fliegerbluse, but you could see de 4 buttons.
    Regards,

Sounds to me like some sort of fleigerbuse however... Photos would be best. Maybe you could email your photos to me and I could post them for you!

    Best regards

        Hi,
A photo is not possible. Meanwhile I found the same fliegerbluse in a thread from KULIGOW -fliegerbluse- 03-04-2005.
It's exactly the same fliegerbluse. The front buttons are not hidden. Is it possible that a flakgefreiter would adjust his fliegerbluse, maybe for his own convinience?
        Regards,

This is the thread TVD is referring to:

          http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...t=fliegerbluse

I think he is asking whether soldiers modified the front to have exposed buttons as on this example. (Personally, I've never seen photos of this being done during wartime...but that doesn't mean it didn't happen.)
