    Gebirgsjager Anorak Opinions

    Hi Guys,
I have what appears to be a textbook Anorak, however the neck flap in on the left side instead of the right. Has anyone seen this before? Everything else seems correct.Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.
    Regards,
    John

Can you post a clear picture of the RBN and better images of the anorak taken in natural light.

Can you post a close up of the brown side to see the fabric and weave?

Sure, will do. I did compare the weave with originals on the forum and it looks like a match to me. I could be wrong. Thanks for your help. It is very much appreciated!

                  John,
I for sure can't help you with the Anorak. However, is it already Friday in North Carolina? If so, I've lost a day somewhere....

That looks like one of the post war cloth types. Later war fabric is typically like the first example. The second image shows two reproduction fabrics used for post war GJ/anorak items and the later war original in the middle.
