                I agree. Nicely made out of Italian Material. Olona smooth cotton.
                Looks like it never had insignia? Depot marked and all.

                    Agree with the others, and will add that this is probably one of the scarcest Heer uniform patterns to find. A damn shame it is not fully configured with period applied EM insignia (still a nice piece)

                      Looking at up lifted collar..I think tabs were installed and possibly a triangle m44 eagle..Billbert

                        There are several threads on these. They either have a normal mid war breast eagle in green or also often the later war ugly bird or the triangle as mentioned. Pants were also made in this material and are very rare.

                            No doubt original. Looks to be 4th pattern of the 'tropical' jacket made of (italian captured) olona cloth. Those were made in late 44 /early 45.

                              at least some of these where made in denmark, by a contractor in copenhagen ! can't remember the name though ! very nice specimen
