M36 Infantery Leutnant jacket - thoughts?

Not mine. it was bought from Germany a few weeks ago.

I had a quick look at it today. Some minor mothing to the back and at the front. Well made. Good quality wool. No neck hooks, never had any. Loops for medals and shoulderboards are made as they should be. Eagle removed. (very faint traces of one above left pocket) Buttons marked "Overhoff & cie" + 19 M" sewn with black thread. Shoulder buttons marked A - Assman, sewn with field grey thread. Lining is all green, also arms. No pockets inside. Tailor og name label removed on right side. Pics attached are from the seller site, I can have the owner take better pics tomorrow, if needed.

I cant decide wether it is a good, near mint tunic, or an old, well made repro tunic.

It strikes me as being a reproduction.

        Agree as well.

To me it doesn't show the characteristics of what you see in a 1935 - 1945 produced officer's M-36.

I agree with the others. Reproduction IMO.

            Thanks,

I do agree, but since I had a bit doubt (on behalf of the buyer), the buyer wanted a second opinion. To me it looks like a repro (well made) with original buttons, and possible original shoulder boards and collar tabs added.
