    Infantry officer combate usef tunic

    Dear fellows
I do have this tunic in my collection
It is a real combat tunic with soles holes and ropa
As you can see, eagle seems replaced but is totally embebed un the cloth
The tunic has markings for 1944 and the shadow of a previous triangular eagle, so that Info suspect that the previous eagle was a model 44 with its triangular form
At the back you can see the shadow of the straps

You have a very rare real watim uniform in untouched condition. It's of course an EM/NCO upgrade to officer but totally matching. I have a very good feeling that all is totally untouched.
This are tunics I like who really saw the war and were not lay in the cupboard.

Im my opinion a rare beauty!

I really enjoy these combat worn salty upgrade tunics too. Wonderful example.
Any pictures of the markings? Really 44?

Looks like a good issue tunic used by an officer. This was a very common practice when in the field. Also very common for the officer to upgrade the issue tunic with an officer eagle when using such a tunic in the field.

I like the character of it. I have a couple field tunics in my collection with heavy honest wear and I enjoy that they have the "been there" look.

Fantastic tunic in a good rank and branch, congratulations. I would suggest that the officers breast eagle was added much later and could be a post-war replacement, based on the solid enlisted eagle shadow but very worn officers insignia.

                            Still a very nice tunic!
