I do not see anything wrong with the board, it’s missing it’s rear strap, and maybe loose at the end.

Why do others not like it?

The tab, well not too sure on that there are things I like and things I don’t. So would pass on that. It also is missing a part, the backing cardboard.

Looks more like green Paste-board a form of lacquered cardboard which is correct for WW2,
