Panzer Waffenrock Help Please

Some opinions please.
I have been looking at this panzer NCO waffenrock, that a good friend is thinking of selling. When I occasionally see NCO waffenrocks quite often they are tailor made, but this is an issue one, are they more common than the tailored ones?. The whole thing looks nice to me, but I really don't know enough about them. the shoulder number has been unpicked, I assume that was done at the start of the war. So can I get some comments and some opinions please.

Issue WR;

Looks like a nice issue tunic. Yes, most NCO WRs you see are tailored pieces. Has nice markings. I always liked these issued ones better then the tailored ones.

As far as i can recognize it belonged to Panzerregiment 2. Soldier already served in 1938 (Sudetenland medal). Perhaps he later ended up in Stalingrad.
