Chevrons, On Material Other Than Wool

Thought this would be an interesting thread. I cannot post what I consider to be the rarest Luftwaffe non-wool backed chevron, because I do not have one. If anyone wants to sell or trade me an example I have some killer stuff to trade.

I'll start off with a common example, HBT drill.

Heer tropical pips. Though not chevrons, still sleeve rank.

              Guess I was wrong.....

Reverse of the pips. Note that one is Heer tropical olive while the other is Heer tropical tan.

                Hi John,

Hope this qualifies for the thread.
It's the only non-wool chevron that I have.

Beautiful Tony! Thanks. Mint, subdued tresse on drill HBT. Very cool
How about a view of the reverse?
                  Best,

I bet I know what John is trying to get! I want one too! Actually there are two types I am after.

                        Will contribute with this one.

                            Hi Willi,

The first one, as you well know, is rare. Unissued Luftwaffe tropical chevron on shirt material. Do you have one on twill? They are even more scarce. Here is another tropical OberGr. on shirt material. Note the different color tresse. This one is worn and faded and was removed from a uniform.

Willi, the one I am getting at is splinter printed on top of.... I think your friend has one...... Where the heck is the immense drool smilie?

Well, I am remiss in my obligation, so I'm off line and working on it!

Here is one on white HBT material. You have seen these before but I thought I would repost.
