Here's a nice set of issue EM boots I purchased on Buy-it-now on Ebay for $100. There are an unmessed-with set dated 1938. With all the crud that was on them, they had obviously been sitting in an attic or somewhere for a very long time. I haven't brushed the dirt off them yet. They are a nice large size, about a 10 1/2 or 11, and the leather is still pretty supple. The markings on the sole are as follows:
