Strange uniform short M44 style

It's obviously not Heer-Army but its in field gray (or Italian wool?)
so I thought I would start here as the insignia might not be original to the piece...
What the heck is this?

Inside and collar...Wool looks like Italian hue...
Fully lined with internal pockets even...Internal belt...

Insignia details...Some kind of a TeNo like technical unit? "THW"??/ Werkschutz?
I guess I should try the civilian section too....

OK never mind I figured it out already...
Its Federal West German "Technische Hilfs Werke"...
A post war TeNo organization...Insignia has that WW2 feel,....

I guess this is why the tag was removed to hide its West German origin!
Second image a modern patch! The logo is very Third Reich inspired!
The "T" changed slightly...dropped in modern patch!

This organization was founded in Bonn in 1950 I am reading...
I wonder if they had left over ww2 Italian wool for the production of these early coats?

Yep, and those collar tab are being sold around as HG ones.
