M43 GJ tunic, need help

Hi
please what do you think about this M43 tunic?
Are the insignia replaced? The litzen are not a pair but they are both for the left side.
Could it be possible a similare case?
Moreover they are not fitted in the classic way, but the thread is very similar to the one used to sew the jacket.

Looks like an original M43 to me (tropical type lining?) The collar tab sewing looks believable and they appear to have been on it for a long time, IMO

Can you post images of the interior lining etc. and any depot or size stamps.

german wool 43 Jacke?
I don't like the collar tabs, those are not standard to the 43 Jacke. The grey ones should be there. But the present one's are sewed very tightly and frankly I do not think much of the machine skill there. So IMO here is a problem there. Lets see the lining :it has a chance so far from what has been shown color and poplin appearance....

As I have wrote - WITH THOSE PHOTOS - mean with better photos + photos of lining ( very atypical lining ), cloth similar to the oen used in repro tunics ), markings etc. it could show up to be a real one , but at this stage WITH THOSE PHOTOS I'm sceptic of it being original .

So better photos need to made any good conclusion.


If turn to be ok than IMO at least collar tabs coud be replaced ( not typical for M43 jackets - they are green while should be grey ).

Like the Lining material, the RbNr, the size No's...OK
Don't care for the suspension straps material, and as I and Marcin agree the Kragenspiegel's and their stitching. Something is unorthodox or un teutonic. At the very least a reworked original or a very good fake as the one's coming out of DE and distributed on the international market. But the new copies have much better stitching than what we see here on the collar tabs I am afraid.

Tunic is a nice orginal..

But i would never consider the tabs orginal sewn..imo.

The eagle will probably tell the tale..

Now , with those photos , I can tell the jacket is definately orginal. But as other mentioned not sure about collar tabs.
