Shoulder Boards with Skull -> Hermann Goering?

Hi,

yesterday I received the following shoulder boards with a skull. For me those are original ones.

Going through all my books I have, I couldn't find a similar one.
From the color it could be HG, but Skull on a shoulder board...I haven't seen this before.

Can you help?

Skulls are real and look like they have been on there a long time. Neat boards

Hi Billbert,
of course this could be an option as they came together...and was my first thought..the Prussian skull on a cap, or collar tab would be something I would call 'normal', but on a shoulder board...

The material from the others is somehow different (see below), but still could be a variation...would be good if someone has a similar or a foto

I like the set, I'd guess Infantry Rgt 17 as well. I have seen some boards with vet added skulls. I have also seen Kav Rgt 5 boards with all sorts of skull variants but that doesn't quite jive for this set. Matt
