    Bronze Heer Eagle for?

    Looking for opinions on this eagle, someone suggested it may have been for a gorget? It is a heavy bronze with thick tabs on the back. A neat piece I couldn't resist. Comments welcome. Thanks in advance.

      1-1/2"h x 1-1/4"w approx.

        nope sorry - it's a copy of the eagle from a post war Souval numbered general assault badge- so a copy of a copy
