Machine Woven Tropical Breast Eagle

Hi all,

I was going through some of my loose insignia and pulled this eagle out for opinion.I can't recall seeing an eagle like this in any of the reference books. As far as I recall they only show or mention the BEVO eagles. There was a thread on another forum that showed one that came from an advanced collector (I think from france). I also sent pics to some long time collectors I know who confirmed that machine woven tropical eagles did exist. So what do you folks think?

In Vol 2 of Uniforms and Traditions Angolia talks about a hand embroidered version for officers on a tan backing, but doesn't show a pic. There is an italian made Tropical eagle shown, but it doesn't resemble this one. jim
