    Brandenburg CT confirmation

    Dear All,

This one came as part of a small lot from a Brandenburg vets estate. I sold the tunic, which had no CT, and kept this CT as a souvenir. I say as a souvenir because there is no doubt in my mind that it is a post war manufactured item the vet probably picked up at a reunion. As I will probably offer it on the e-stand, I just want to have my assumption confirmed, not that, by a freak chance, I make a stupid mistake...

It is made of heavy material, but the inside liner simply is what is strongly suggesting to me that it is a post war piece...

    Thank You!

    Al

Germans call that backing Vestarkung, a kind of reinforcement material, to hold the shape of the felt.

I concur that it is probably a vet piece, made post-war.
