Heer cap eagle. Genuine?

For years I was under the impression that this type of tab was questionable, as to authenticity. But, as of late I've seen this same variety on a couple of sites as genuine. Thoughts? Much appreciated.

No expert myself but I've seen those around too for a long time and they are good IMO. I've also seen cap wreaths with the same "broad clip" hardware...Just my opinion but I would say early aluminum specimen with very broad clips (to facilitate soldering which aint easy on aluminum) before they got smart and started crimping round brass/copper pins on these aluminum birds instead of welding them

Wait for more enlightened opinions to be sure
