New made cast fake from period existing italian made DAK ring

The rings that I have seen and handled looked to have been made in Arab Bazaars. Often from real silver and gold or just silver.

Never thought about some being Italian made but it makes sense that would also be a likely source.

As for this one being cast, the Arabs cast a lot of badges etc for the British forces fighting in Africa such as the LRDG badges. However, original DAK rings show a certain amount of hand finishing after casting. The level of workmanship on some can be naive and crude,
