Love the ariticle it's great some one documents all the rare and obscure uniforms
it was total war everyone involved,the uk was the same when involved in all services
the photos are the best clues you can find.

Thank you. I think my all my books focus on the obscure aspects of the war from the German side. Rations, Helferinnen, and various other aspects that impacted the German soldiers daily life. Not as sexy as medals or Panzer uniforms, but I think just as important in order to understand the life and times of the German soldier.

Thanks for the compliment. I'm working on a sixth book which will include more mannequins. So I bought better lights and backgrounds in the hope I can improve my photographs. Not perfect but better. Regards Jim
