    Patric,

thank you. I believe you might like this also. it is a large hgand carved Mountain Troop Skier. He is complete with breast eagle, Iron Cross 1st Class, cap eagle and cap edelweiss. The base has carved edelweiss flowers and the jaeger's boots have the carved cleats.

In the land of the blind, the one eyed man is king.

Duct tape can't fix stupid, but it can muffle the sound.

      Hello Patrick,

Thank you. I believe you may want to see my favorite piece of German war art. This Jaeger is hand carved and complete with cap eagle and edelweiss, breast eagle, collar tabs and shoulder boards, Iron Cross 2nd Class ribbon, Iron Cross 1st Class, pistol holster, and even the nountain type cleats on the soles of his boote.

The carving has cut out edelweisses on the base. It is truely remarkable and artistic.

Even though mountain troop, I still think he makes a fine Jaeger.

Excellent woodcarving! I'll have to photograph some of my original carvings and post them for you too. Here is a carving that I made of a GJ with skis. SKI HEIL!
