M41 Infantry Officer's Tunic - French Material ?

The material is Dutch as is that breast eagle. I have a similar eagle and a nice Jager Albert's jacket made in that material. I love that tunic, is add it to my collection. Matt

I can only agree, base material is Dutch. Also SS tunics were made with the same fabric.

Thanks for the confirmation Afrikasandman, Antonio, I am interested in knowing if Dutch made tunics are as sort after, as German ones and amongst collectors, if different national makers are rated better than others or do collectors view them as having all the same value?

I don't know that they are more sought after, I certainly like them. It's really no different than say a tunic in Italian garberdine or a light weight summer tunic. Just happened that a tailor had some of that material and the Soldier had them make a tunic out of it. I'd buy it depending on the price, they just have a nice greenish blue hue to them. I like them and I also like the foreign made eagles that sometimes come on them so it's typically a win win for me.

But to each their own.
