                Base tunic is orginal..

The eagle, vinkel and patch appears to be restored.

                Any picture behind the collar?

                    Oa?

The officer candidate loops on the shoulder straps don't make sense IMO as a Stabsgefreiter is usually not trying to become an Unteroffizier much less an officer candidate. They tend to not be viewed as potential leaders.

I would question the insignia application in todo. The tunic itself looks like a nice original. The boards don't make sense.

Original jacket pimped up and retailored as walking out jacket . A classical .
IMO all badges period applied by a tailor ...
Interesting double size markings : made officially smaller ? a recycled jacket before having been pimped up ?

The jacket was reconditioned and reissued, I have talked about this in other threads. All the issue clothing from soldiers killed or wounded captured etc. was reconditioned in factories and reissued. This is why it has a couple size stamps etc.

IMO the jacket is fine and probably all original with sewn insignia. The dark green collar was added by a tailor etc. to give the appearance of an earlier tunic. The unit designator "3" does not match a Jager assignment for signals in Tessin or Lexicon so that is the questionable bit.
