The fabric is non standard but it is a tailor made light weight summer tunic. All of the insignia appears to be original and applied well.

It's a rare material.I only saw him once on the jacket of a paratrooper Luftwaffe.I now can't find the photo. This tunic tailoring Atelier.the so-called "Aygentum"

From the photos, the fabric almost looks like the mottled Polizei fabric used n their summer tunics.

The fabric type used by the Luftwaffe and Police is called Grünmeliert and comes in many different variations. I have seen this type of cloth used for lightweight Army and even KM tunics before. The fabric also was produced after the War. I do not know all the different variations of it. Based on what, I see it looks okay. People in the Police forum section probably would know if this is a wartime cloth.

I agree. But the fabric is different from the one which was used for police tunics..This is my tunic, and I asked a friend to discuss it.Amazingly she sewed all the insignia original.Sleeve lining artificial silk.the thread is also faux silk. The material is thin and very dense.I'm sure it's a custom order.notice how sewn buttonholes in the collarSuspension cutlass carbine Assmann. The Buttons Are Assmann

There are many variations of the fabric. There also is a similar Dutch tropical cloth that was used for both factory and tailor made light weight tunics but this is different.

Not all the Grünmeliert fabrics are identical, the term only means "mottled" or "mixed" "green" and many many variations exist. It was used in DDR and as far as I know it is still being manufactured for utility fabrics etc.

The Grünmeliert used by tailors was different and higher quality than the issue fabrics.
