1911 holster with Trophy Panzer Skulls

I recently picked up this WWII US 1911 Boyt 43 holster that is adorned with two panzer skulls with what looks like three prongs on the back side. All look perfectly original to my eyes but, I would appreciate some opinions

Thanks gents...one of the reasons I was attracted to it as Ive only seen the captured trophy holsters with the skulls...I've not across an allied holster done up.
