Thanks Steve for posting these only couple of Pioneer items I have. Both items picked up here in NZ with NZ Veteran provenance.
The tunic I bought off the vets son and the hat I presume was brought home by a NZer as it has SIDI REZEIGH 1942 written on the red lining. NZers were involved in a battle there in early 1942.
My good friend Paul has actually posted pics of the hat too on the DAK thread.
So thanks guys for you help.

I haven't really focussed on Pioneers much in the last couple of years (indeed i've sold quite a bit off), but I did buy a couple of caps last year - I couldn't resist the bullion insignia
