2 exceptional eagles

These 2 just came together in a small framed lot of veteran's souveniers and I thought they were worth posting for posterity as both are pretty unique I think.

The first is stunning quality celleon breast eagle on dark bottle green for Generals, has been tunic removed complete with blood stains!

2nd is one of the nicest officer eagles I have had- it is unusually backed on grey wool rather than green and the swastika is done in black bullion thread which is a feature I have never previously seen.

swastika is in silver wire and has tarnished The rest of the eagle is aluminium wire and will not tarnish I think the cellion generals eagle probably is a marine artillery officers eagle i have a identical one on a tunic but still a rare and hard to get eagle
